When you enroll your child at Carlton Academy Day School, small feet take big steps. Our online process is secure, thorough and convenient.
Hours of Operation
Carlton Academy operates between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Hours may vary upon there being sufficient parental commitment to extended hours, so please contribute your ideas and willingness to commit to supporting those ideas. Come “Build With Us”.
Child Care Programs
The health and well being of your infant and toddler is our highest priority. Due to state regulations, strict child-to-staff ratios, our one-child-per-crib policy and numerous other health considerations, it is not possible to fund Infant and Toddler programs by part-time tuition. As such, Carlton Academy Day School Infant and Toddler Programs can only accept enrollments for a full-week (M-F) schedule.
Consistency in Enrollment
Our carefully planned programs and curriculum are designed with learning activities scheduled in the morning and afternoon for a full day and week of development and growth for your child. Learning objectives can be planned and delivered when classroom schedules are consistently observed by teachers and families. Perhaps more importantly, consistency benefits children, teachers and staff by providing an environment that provides nurturing and enhances learning.
For these reasons, we ask parents to commit to maintaining schedules. In addition, Carlton Academy has created the following policies to help us keep our commitment to quality for all of the children:
Two Year Olds, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, School Age Parents can choose either a full week schedule or an AM or PM half-day schedule. However, that schedule must be locked in and cannot be changed week to week.
Notification of Schedule Change should you decide to reduce your child's schedule, requires a one month notice in writing to Carlton Academy. After notice is given, please note that, if there are families on a full-time schedule wait list, we will be unable to reduce your billing to less than full-time. Should that occur, you have the right to withdraw your notice and keep your child's full-time schedule. In the event that notice is not given, regular tuition will be charged and payment automatically debited. If you decide to add to your child's existing schedule, Carlton Academy requires one-week notice. Once notice has been accepted, billing for the current tuition rate will continue for the week in which the notice was given and an additional amount equal to a full month tuition at “full week” rates prorated for only those weeks remaining in that calendar month. Additions will be handled on a space available basis.
Notification of Withdrawal from Program should you decide to withdraw your child from their scheduled program Carlton Academy requires a one-month notice as you will be charged tuition for the full month in which your child attends any part.
