SUMMARY: The qualified candidate shall primarily be responsible to guide the growth and development of children ages six weeks to five toward their highest potential. The teacher provides early childhood education, which is age and developmentally appropriate, toward the overall goals of social competence and kindergarten readiness; provides for the child's social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development; interacts closely with parents in all activities toward successful developmental goals for the child. Experience working with preschool children and especially infants preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to provide a wide range of creative activities and appropriate experiences for preschool children. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: English (Spanish a plus)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time
HOURLY WAGE: Competitive depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits and vacation package offered based on time employed with Carlton Academy.
DESIRED EDUCATION LEVEL: High school graduate or equivalent, one year experience working as a child care provider, State of Florida Child Care Facility Part I & Part II courses. CDA qualified a plus.
